The FoReLab project is an educational path of excellence dedicated to students in Master’s degree programs in Computer Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering.

As part of the educational initiatives of the FoReLab project of the Department of Information Engineering (winner of the MUR 2023/2027 Call for Departments of Excellence), a pathway particularly suitable for students who have interests in the project’s research topics is activated.

HOW

ITALY

To obtain the FoReLab graduate certificate, the student must:

  • include in their study plan as “Optional Teaching Student’s Choice Activity” a 9 CFU activity chosen by the “FoReLab group” (selected from the Master’s degree curriculum provided by the Department of Information Engineering, due to the relevance of their respective objectives and content to FoReLab topics);
  • Develop a thesis work aimed at addressing and solving a state-of-the-art research problem relevant to the FoReLab project topics;
  • Writing the thesis in English.

The suggested FoReLab group from which the interested student can choose an activity is as follows:

Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering

01.

Advanced Computer Networking (aka Advanced Network Architectures and Wireless Systems) – 9 CFUs

02.

Dependable and Secure Systems (aka Formal Methods for Secure Systems) – 9 CFUs

03.

Foundations of Cybersecurity – 9 CFUs

04.

Industrial Applications – 9 CFU

05.

Internet of Things – 9 CFU

06.
