Extra exam sessions

As provided for in Article 23-quater of the University Academic Regulations, there are:  two extra exam sessions reserved to the following students’ categories:

• working students (as defined in art. 27);
• athletes (as defined in art. 27);
• students who are enrolled after the normal duration of the program (“fuori corso”);
• those students who are enrolled in the last year of the program and are enrolled in the final thesis exam;
• parents with children under eight years of age;
• pregnant students;
• students enrolled in transition courses to make up for missing curricular requirements or to meet the personal preparation requirements for admission to a Master’s Degree Programme;
• students in detention;
• caregivers (as defined by law: Legge 205/2017 art. 1 commi 254-255).

These extraordinary examination sessions are held in April and November, and at least one of the two extraordinary sessions must be offered for each examination. The examinations in these sessions are organized by the course instructor and are not scheduled by the School of Engineering.
