The FoReLab project is an excellence training course dedicated to students of Master’s degree courses in Computer Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering.

As part of the educational initiatives of the FoReLab project of the Department of Information Engineering (winner of the MUR 2023/2027 Call for Excellence in Departments), a course is being implemented that is particularly suitable for students with an interest in the project’s research topics.

HOW

ITALY

To obtain the FoReLab degree certificate, the student must:

  • include a 9 CFU activity chosen by the ‘FoReLab group’ (selected from the Master’s degree syllabus provided by the Department of Information Engineering, due to the relevance of its objectives and content to the FoReLab topics) in its study plan as an ‘Optional student activity’;
  • develop a thesis work aimed at addressing and solving a state-of-the-art research problem relevant to the FoReLab project topics;
  • writing the thesis in English.

The suggested FoReLab group from which the interested student can choose an activity is as follows:

Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering

01.

Advanced Computer Networking (aka Advanced Network Architectures and Wireless Systems) – 9 CFU

02.

Dependable and Secure Systems (aka Formal Methods for Secure Systems) – 9 CFU

03.

Foundations of Cybersecurity – 9 CFU

04.

Industrial Applications – 9 CFU

05.

Internet of Things – 9 CFU
