CyberChallenge.IT
what is it?
ITALY
CyberChallenge.IT is the national training program in cybersecurity for University and high school students. It is organized by the Cybersecurity National Lab of the CINI, supported by the National Cybersecurity Agency. Dedicated to young talents in the 16-24 years range. It is the main Italian initiative for identifying, attracting, enrolling, and placing the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
CyberChallenge.IT is funded by the #65 item of the Implementation plan of the National Strategy in Cybersecurity 2022-2026 of the National Cybersecurty Agency.
The Department of Information Engineering and the Department of Computer Science of the University of Pisa have been participating in this program since 2019. The University of Pisa team has always ranked among the top 8, has been on the podium three times, and won the 2020 competition.
