student\u201d must submit a self-certification of their status, in accordance with the University regulations, within the designated period.<\/p><p>Please refer to the current<em> \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipi.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/redidattico.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Regolamento Didattico di Ateneo under<\/a><\/em><a href=\"_wp_link_placeholder\">\u00a0art. 27<\/a>, which regulates the figure of the working student (<em>with resolution of the S.A. of 27\/1\/2022 n. 8\/2022, the authentic interpretation of Article 27, paragraph 2, of the University Teaching Regulations, is approved in the sense of including, among working students, also those who carry out non-curricular internships<\/em>).<\/p><p data-start=\"95\" data-end=\"206\">According to the University Regulations, the following benefits are provided for working students:<\/p><ul data-start=\"208\" data-end=\"584\"><li data-start=\"208\" data-end=\"322\"><p data-start=\"210\" data-end=\"322\">the possibility to take exams during extraordinary exam sessions (see the\u00a0<em data-start=\"284\" data-end=\"313\">Extraordinary<\/em><em data-start=\"284\" data-end=\"313\"> Exam Sessions<\/em>\u00a0page);<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"323\" data-end=\"470\"><p data-start=\"325\" data-end=\"470\">the possibility to arrange alternative office hours and meeting times with instructors, beyond those normally scheduled for full-time students;<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"471\" data-end=\"584\"><p data-start=\"473\" data-end=\"584\">a possible reduction in attendance requirements, as defined in the regulations of individual degree programmes.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Application form for the recognition of working student status<\/strong> (<a data-start=\"33\" data-end=\"57\">working student status <\/em>for the degree programmes in Computer Engineering (Ingegneria Informatica, Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering, Computer Engineering) must be submitted to the <strong>Teaching Unit of the DII<\/strong> <b>\u2013 Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell\u2019Informazione<\/b> in the following periods of each year:<\/p><ul><li><strong>1 September \u2013 31 October<\/strong> \u2013 for the extraordinary appeals scheduled from 1 November to 31 January<\/li><li><strong>1 February \u2013 31 March<\/strong> \u2013 for the extraordinary appeals scheduled from 1 April to 31 August<\/li><\/ul><p>For the recognition of <strong>working student status<\/strong>, please contact Mr. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/unimap.unipi.it\/cercapersone\/dettaglio.php?ri=3268\">Francesco Cicchetti<\/a><\/strong> at the office located in Via Caruso 16, during the following days and hours: Monday to Friday
