Admission to the Master's Degree Course<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Admission to the Master’s Degree (MSc) course requires a bachelor’s degree (or BSc) or a higher qualification certifying adequate scientific and technical preparation.<\/p>

If the qualification held is Italian, admission is granted after verification of curricular requirements, based on the exams present in the university career.<\/p>

Conversely, candidates with a foreign degree must undergo a selective admission process. Applications are reviewed by an Evaluation Committee (CV), appointed by the Degree Program Council. <\/p>

Preparation required<\/b><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree (or a BSc of at least three years’ duration). The curriculum must include courses that address computer hardware and software, similar to those required for graduates in Computer Engineering or Information Science. <\/p>

Purely technical or professional qualifications are not accepted.<\/p>

A solid background in mathematics and in-depth knowledge of the following topics are required: Algorithms and Programming, Computer Architecture, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Databases.<\/p>

Some courses in related engineering disciplines, such as Electronics, Telecommunications, Automation and Management Engineering, must also have been completed.<\/p>

Knowledge of the English language at least at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages \u200b\u200bis required.<\/p>

These general requirements are verified using different procedures depending on whether the qualification was obtained in Italy or abroad. The curricular requirements for the 2026\/27 and 2027\/28 academic years differ.

- meets the curricular requirements for the 2027\/28 academic year but not those for the 2026\/27 academic year; and
- is interested in enrolling in the 2026\/27 academic year,
