Orientation at UNIPI
The University of Pisa promotes an extensive orientation system designed to support students throughout all stages of their academic journey, from choosing a degree program to entering the job market.
Incoming Orientation
Addressed to high-school students and prospective freshmen, it includes:
Open Days, featuring course presentations, meetings with professors and tutors, and visits to facilities and laboratories.
School visits, during which UNIPI staff present the academic offer and university services.
Participation in regional and national orientation fairs and events.
Personalized orientation meetings, held in person or online, to help students make informed decisions about their university path.
Ongoing Orientation
Aimed at enrolled students to support their academic success:
Tutoring services, both disciplinary and welcoming.
Career support in defining the study plan and managing the academic journey.
Information events on international mobility, internships, course transfers, and educational opportunities.
Outgoing Orientation (Career Service)
Designed to facilitate the transition into the workforce:
Career Days and company meetings, including workshops and corporate presentations.
Job placement services and publication of internship and job offers.
Training workshops on CV writing, job interviews, soft skills, and entrepreneurship.
Online Resources and Tools
UNIPI also provides digital platforms, videos, guides, and virtual help desks that allow easy access to information and orientation services.
Orientation at the School of Engineering
The School of Engineering of the University of Pisa also organizes dedicated meetings where the academic offer and admission procedures for engineering degree programs are presented. These events are an excellent opportunity to learn about:
the organization of the School of Engineering;
the School’s academic offer for the upcoming Academic Year;
the procedures for taking the entrance test (TOLC-I);
the study plans of Engineering programs and related career opportunities.
